Teachers and educational psychologists training centre

Our school is a training centre for new teachers and other education-related professionals.

Every school year several students teachers request our school to train and learn with us, which means we develop stronger long-term cooperative relationships.

We would like to

Help students develop themselves according to their abilities and talents in order to reach the level of knowledge and competence necessary to build their future.

We want to educate in values by and for the coexistence, with a human and transcendent vision, people able to act in a fair and solidarity way.

We also want to encourage responsible and democratic participation in school life, creating shared workspaces: work commissions, class representatives meetings…

We like

Being a sustainable school: participating in Agenda 21, recycling, reusing paper, socializing textbooks…

Participating and collaborating with other institutions: researching in collaboration with the University, working whit IMEB…

Organizing monographic workshops for the whole school involving different learning topics.

Knowing and living our own culture: Jocs Florals (a literature contest), popular traditions, school festivals…

Spreading what we do through our online channels.

Sharing our activities with other local and public institutions: IMEB, Liceu, Palau de la Música, Auditori, City Hall, etc.

Getting to know other social realities and ways to live.

Enjoying the environment and nature.

The beginning of the school is a very important moment and that is the reason why we pay special attention to the adaptation process during P-3, designing a very carefully-thought tutoring plan.

We perform shared activities between different educational courses calles: “racons”.

We work on term projects.

We work on a project-based methodology in the areas of “Coneixement del Medi”.

We carry out workshops, learning spaces and individual work as a methodology to develop autonomy and the management of self-learning and work.

We elaborate the rules of coexistence of each group and establish the assemblies as a space for dialogue within them.

We guide students through the entire educational process and their personal growth.

Individual tutoring (2 tutors per group), we create work projects and work with flexible groups in the instrumental areas and with small groups in the other areas.

We guide the 4th of ESO students towards their academic future.

We create our own rules of coexistence and we establish assemblies as a tool for dialogue and participation in the life of the school.

The goal of the socialization of textbooks is to:

  • Provide all students with textbooks, meaning a significant saving for families.
